Shining Star is a program for kids. If you have brothers, sisters, cousins, or neighbors that are in 3rd or 4th grade you should sign them up in Shining Star. It’s in Mother Caroline Academy, but in the basement and it’s not dirty or messy. Mother Caroline is located at 515 Blue Hill Ave, Dorchester, MA 02121. Remember it’s in the basement. In Shining Star you do your homework and play games.
When you come into Shining Star you have to sign the time you get there, then get a snack and get right to your homework. All the teachers in Shining Star are really, really, really nice especially one. Her name is Ms. Blair. She is the lead teacher in Shining Star. Don’t be mean to the teachers or they won’t like it and they also help you, so there’s no reason to be mean to them. Sometimes for activities she lets you go on the computer, cook, do crossword puzzles, and much more. If you want to know all the activities then sign up for Shining Star.
When Shining Star is almost over you go to a meeting and talk about your day. When it’s Wednesday or Friday you end meeting early and play in the gym. You play games like tag, kickball, and more. Then at 5: 30 you leave and you can tell everyone about the fun day you had in Shining Star. Then come back again!!!!
