2nd Anniversary Since the Haiti Earthquake

By Hunessa Louis

On January 12, 2010 at 4:45, a 7.0 earthquake striked Haiti. About 300,000 people died and 1.5 million people were injured or hurt. Many people were buried under the rubble for days and some of them survived but some didn’t. Kids lost their parents which turned them into orphans and they all stayed together in one tent or know as an orphanage. Many people were and are missing but some of them were found which is great. Through all this Haiti never lost its faith even though they lost all these things. Haitian are known for all their and everyone here in America helped also which we are very thankful that we have neighbors from another country willing to help us. It’s been two years since the Haiti earthquake on January 12, 2010 and it’s important to remember that huge catastrophe because it was a huge sad day to remember the missing, the dead, the found, the alive, the orphans, the injured, and the victims.
