Ms. Bartels' Interview

How hard it is to be a teacher?

The most challenging job she has ever had.

How do you know what to teach?

She thinks about projects that she did, and important skills for the students.

How do you remember to make it to class on time?

She has a large watch.

When do you plan on printing the worksheets (at night time)?

Sometimes during periods that she doesn’t teach, and at night.

How do you control your anger if you are mad at the students?

She takes deep breaths, and thinks about what it feels to be in their moccasins

When do you know when it’s time to give out demerits?

The obvious things, and when a student continues to do something.

How do you know how to choose worksheets?

Asks the students what they’re having trouble with, and what students need help with.

How do you know to make it a class assignment or homework?

Depends how much time they have.

How do you get along with other teachers?

“We get along well”

Why do you like being a teacher?

“Everyday of work is different”. She finds her students hilarious, and smart.
