What Happened in Ohio

By Anicia DePina

What a tragedy that happened in Ohio. If you don’t know but you probably should the zoo keeper let out all the animals in the zoo. Everyone is sad and heartbroken because some of the animals were killed like tigers, lions, etc. I sat down with half of my classmates and my teacher and asked them how they felt about the animals being killed.

Camille: She said that she didn’t care because there are more animals near herneighborhood. But she still thinks it is bad for the people in Ohio.

Jadyn: She in her opinion was sad because she really loves animals. Not only that but it was really bad for the people because they were in danger and the animals were probably hungry.

Laura: She was sad and mad at the same time because when the zoo keeper let out the animals they could of hurt people and she thinks he did a really bad job.

Nicole: She was sad that the animals had to die but she was a little happy that the people were but the loss of the animals broke her heart.

Hunessa: She at first thought it was funny but then she realized the situation was very serious. She felt mad because the zoo keeper let out the animals and she was sad becausethe animals were killed even though they were innocent.

Miriam: She felt sad because there was no need for killing them. She suggested that they should have tranquilized the animals and just put them in cages.

Genesis: She was shocked because killing some of the animals is like killing people she also suggested to tranquilized them and put them in an actual zoo.

Ms.Sitron: My teacher was very sad and it was a very sad thing that happened.

Me: I thought that was a really dumb thing to do and I also thought that there was no need for what he did. I was in shock and very sad.

Music Poem

By Jadyn Baptista

MUSIC

Music music everywhere I go

I hear it at night I hear it in glow

O how much I love music

It can be soft it can be LOUD

But It is still music

Music music every where I go

It soothes me to sleep every night in a row

When I walk down the street or up a hill all I hear is music

Music music music

I hear music through one ear and out the other

Music music everywhere I go

It can be fast or it can be slow

When I hear music I dance all about

I sway side to side

O what music

Music music everywhere I go

I hear it on the go

Sometimes I like it sometimes I don’t

Music can be a night mare that makes me scream and shout

Music can make me sing all about

Music music every where I go

It can be any sound from a cow or even a goat

Music can be any where I go

Music can be from your voice to your feet

Music can be a beat with no words

Music music every where I go

All I say is MUSIC.

Move Review

By Miriam Rodriguez

Today I will be doing a movie review on X men First Class. Don’t worry Beatrice I’ll do Transformers next weekJ. X-Men: First Class injects new blood into the marvel world .I love it, for all you X-men fans out there this is the perfect movie for you. It tells you everything you need to know about how everything started. I think there is a moral to the story. I think it is even though you can be the ugliest mutant ever but you are beautiful and unique in your own way. I think that there is a moral to this movie but that’s just me. Anyway … I think it is an amazing movie overall some parts are funny, sad, serious, touching. I think this a great movie to watch with your family. So next time you see it why not watch it?

Halloween

By Hunessa Louis

MWAH HAH HAH!!!!! Halloween is near!!! Halloween is The Day of the Dead which is where we celebrate the dead and remember them and what they did on Earth. Halloween is always on October 31st .This year most of my friends plan to be EXTREEEEEEEEEEEMMLLLYY SCCAAAARRRY!!!!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!!!! Miss Sitron said that she is going to be Miss Bartels. (COOOOOOLLLLL). But since I don’t celebrate Halloween I’m just going be my plain self. On Halloween many kids go Trick or Treating which is where kids dress up in costumes and go around in their neighborhood and knock on everyone’s door, yell out ‘Trick or Treat!!, and then they get candy so make sure you have a supply of candy or you are in bad shape because even though you don’t have decorations around/ at your house at least one kid will knock on your door, so be prepared. Halloween started over 2000 years ago. Long ago they called it Hallows Eve but they shortened it to Halloween. Halloween is like a feast or a festival. Some people believe that Halloween is one day of the year where souls of the dead go back to their original homes. The true meaning of Halloween in my perspective is that you have one day of the year where you get to have fun and scare people but on the other hand it means you have a day to pay your respect to the dead and to remember all the bad and good things that they have done on their time on Earth. To know more Halloween you’ll just have to do research about it. Mwaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhaha

Happy Halloween!
