My Country Haiti

By Hunessa Teri Louis

Haiti is a wonderful country even though they had an earthquake that struck them a year ago. They never lost hope and they still stand up today. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Carribean. They share the island with Dominican Republic. Some of the cities of Haiti are St Marc, Jacmel, Jeremie, Cap Haitian, and Port de Paix. They speak Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish but Haitian Creole and French are the main languages. There are 7,656,166 people who live there right now! They do many different cultural things for example their MUSIC. The music is really danceable it is like pop and jazz mixed but different. If you want to know more about Haiti you’ll just have to do research. I love Haiti. You are awesome.
