Charlotte in Paris

By Anicia DePina

Wow you know what I just read “Charlotte in Paris”. In my opinion it is a wonderful book for kids who love to travel. This book is about a girl that is going back to Paris to find her lost cat orangina. Before her adventure starts she needs to convince her dad to let her go. Her friend’s mom that lives in Paris tries to convince Charlotte’s dad to let her go but things don’t workout the way she wanted. With time Charlotte’s dad lets her go. When she delivers the news to her friends they decide to throw her a good-bye “party” at the last minute. Her dad is not too thrilled with the idea but he lets her go anyway. When her dad drops her off at “Montoya’s Bakery” the party begun. As she steps inside she can already smell the sweat aroma of freshly baked cookies. The first thing she does is buy the gift for the Morels. After she buys the gift one of her friends describes Paris with such dreamy thoughts. When she is done they each give her gifts. When her dad comes she says her good-byes and leaves without the gift but luckily when she turned back there was a friend there to hand it to her. The next day at the Logan Airport her dad was very nervous but he was a little glad that there is someone to accompany her. When she gets on the plane she meets this really nice guy and that is who she talks to. Now her adventure starts. To figure out what she does in Paris you have to read the book itself.
