Review on Lion King

By Beranda Marseille

So has all of you guys have heard Lion King has become 3D. This movie has been the favorites of many people especially me. On Rotten Tomatoes the score for them on the movie was 89% out of 100% for them and on the site it said that 89 is a good number.

This movie is about an adventure of a new coming king name Simba and the troubles and excitement he faces when his father dies and his uncle Scar told him that it was his fault and when he runs away. He meets many people along the way like Hyenas, Timon and Pumba, and many and learns along the way that it’s not about the journey it about how you face it.

In the financial business Box Office said that this movie has made 8.66 million dollars on the first week of the release . Then after a few weeks this movie has raised 29.3 million dollars in the entire month. Since the Lion King 3D came out it has been the “mane” event in North America. Many people have come from everywhere.

REVIEWS BY THE PEOPLE: Many people saw this Great movie. Here is what some people say

Charlotte in Paris

By Anicia DePina

Wow you know what I just read “Charlotte in Paris”. In my opinion it is a wonderful book for kids who love to travel. This book is about a girl that is going back to Paris to find her lost cat orangina. Before her adventure starts she needs to convince her dad to let her go. Her friend’s mom that lives in Paris tries to convince Charlotte’s dad to let her go but things don’t workout the way she wanted. With time Charlotte’s dad lets her go. When she delivers the news to her friends they decide to throw her a good-bye “party” at the last minute. Her dad is not too thrilled with the idea but he lets her go anyway. When her dad drops her off at “Montoya’s Bakery” the party begun. As she steps inside she can already smell the sweat aroma of freshly baked cookies. The first thing she does is buy the gift for the Morels. After she buys the gift one of her friends describes Paris with such dreamy thoughts. When she is done they each give her gifts. When her dad comes she says her good-byes and leaves without the gift but luckily when she turned back there was a friend there to hand it to her. The next day at the Logan Airport her dad was very nervous but he was a little glad that there is someone to accompany her. When she gets on the plane she meets this really nice guy and that is who she talks to. Now her adventure starts. To figure out what she does in Paris you have to read the book itself.

My Country Haiti

By Hunessa Teri Louis

Haiti is a wonderful country even though they had an earthquake that struck them a year ago. They never lost hope and they still stand up today. Haiti is one of the poorest countries in the Carribean. They share the island with Dominican Republic. Some of the cities of Haiti are St Marc, Jacmel, Jeremie, Cap Haitian, and Port de Paix. They speak Haitian Creole, French, and Spanish but Haitian Creole and French are the main languages. There are 7,656,166 people who live there right now! They do many different cultural things for example their MUSIC. The music is really danceable it is like pop and jazz mixed but different. If you want to know more about Haiti you’ll just have to do research. I love Haiti. You are awesome.

The Game

By Jadyn Baptista

Wow can you believe that the Boston Red Sox lost? The score was 4 to 3. They played the Orioles. The date was Wednesday September 24, 2011. This is my opinion but I was shocked. I bet all the Red Sox fans were so surprised about what happened.

This is me “wow I can’t believe it ’’.

I bet everyone that is a fan was excited because we all thought the Red Sox were going to win. Well you see we were sad that the Red Sox lost, but it is not our fault that they lost because I bet that they tried their best to win. Well I bet you must be thinking if they tried they would have got a better score or win the game. So you might say that it might have not been their day (well not our day) .Also we would have been so happy if they won the game so I think they will try better next time. As you might see I am a Red Sox fan so yes I was disappointed that they lost. I know it was the play offs but one thing I need to say is .………………………..GO RED SOX GO

The one-time special Fashion Advice Column

If you have dignity, don’t wear this to a party. If you love
Lady Gaga and want to look JUST like her and don’t care,
go right ahead. It’s coming from an advice column here, you
should listen. She obviously was imitating the nest of an owl.
Don’t you dare wear this.

What do I say about this chick? Kylie Minogue. What was
she thinking!?! If you Google this, you will find this is called
the bubble dress. I don’t want to be disrespectful to Kylie. I’m
actually just giving my opinion. Vote who wore it worst!
