Sneakers

Nowadays lots and lots of people wear sneakers. Wow every day I always see someone wear sneakers so that means that they are popular. Jan Ernst Matzeliger invented sneakers in 1859 (that was a long time ago) (http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_invented_sneakers). The first rubber soled shoes called plimsolls were made in the United States in the late 1800s. In 1892, nine small companies consolidated to form the U.S. Rubber Company. Among them was the Goodyear Metallic Rubber Shoe Company. That is how sneakers were made.

For example Converse All Star shoes where made in 1917 as the first basketball shoe. To me that is cool. My favorite types of sneakers are Jordan’s. For some reason there are sneaker heels. Also I like Nikes. Other people might like different types of shoes.

I think that the sneakers below are very cool. There are many type of sneakers. What type of sneakers do you like? Well I just want to say that I do not think sneakers will be out of style in a very very very long time, because if they were invented in 1859 and now it is 2011 ( they are not old yet). There are many types of sneakers.

All these sneakers come from different people.
